At Messy Nessie Early Learning and Child Care, we provide a variety of play areas that are thoughtfully designed to engage and nurture your child’s development, along with spaces dedicated to quiet relaxation.

Our large, enclosed garden is conveniently accessible through the patio doors and offers a wide range of outdoor activities. Children can grow plants, explore the climbing frame and slides, ride balance bikes, and engage in creative play with a tuff tray, paint easel, and chalkboard.

For safe outdoor play under the sun, we’ve installed an anti-UV sunshade sail, often placed above our pool area. This shaded space is ideal for soft play, where children can jump and tumble on mats.

We celebrate outdoor activities throughout the year, from enjoying picnics in the Spring and Summer to roasting marshmallows around the fire pit in Autumn and Winter. Regardless of the season, outdoor eating and play are integral parts of our daily routine.

In addition to our outdoor spaces, we have an upstairs soft play room equipped with soft play mats, steps, large soft triple mirrors, and ball pit. This room doubles as a sensory haven for quiet time, featuring fibre optic lighting, sensory gloves, scarves, a space blanket, and a bubble tube. It’s a favourite spot where children love to play, bounce, and unwind in a calming, sensory-rich environment.

The downstairs playroom is designed to spark imagination and foster independence. It features a playhouse/tent/teepee and a variety of toys, including Froebel Unit Building Blocks and a wooden kitchen.

We also offer a selection of exploration toys tailored for young babies, toddlers, and older children, creating an engaging environment that encourages creative play and self-reliance.
